Port City Ballet Company
Our Vision
We are building Nova Scotia’s first professional ballet company comprised and lead by Nova Scotians for Nova Scotians. The company will provide a space for artistry, inclusion, and regional pride. Our vision is to elevate the arts while cultivating deep community roots through world class performances, education, and community engagement, allowing our homegrown artists the opportunity to stay here at home and share their expertise province wide while earning a living. The company will include students in training in all productions offering world class opportunities and experience right here in NS.

Nova Scotians show an increased appetite for Ballet annually with Symphony Nova Scotia’s Nutcracker selling out and Ballet Jorgens, an Ontario-based company, selling out their shows at The Rebecca Cohn and regional Theatres.​
